Historias para Recordar (Spanish for “stories to remember”) is a voice app for Google Home or your phone through the Google Assistant. It’s designed for older people and helps them exercise their memory.

Ok Google, quiero hablar con historias para recordar. (Ok Google, talk to Historias para Recordar.)

Memory exercises can be a great tool in the fight against Alzheimer’s. That’s how our app works: after a short story, it asks a few questions to check how much you remember.

How to use the app

The app has been live in the Google Assistant store since August 9, 2018, and works with the Assistant in Spanish.

To use Historias para Recordar you need the Google Assistant app:

• On your phone (you can download it for Android or for iOS).
• Google Home devices come with the Google Assistant built in.
• With the Assistant open, just say or type “hablar con historias para recordar”. If that doesn’t work, you can start it from this link.
