💬 Voice interaction

“Alexa, abre edad de los famosos” (“celebrity ages”) is the game where you test how well you know the ages of well-known figures in Spain. You get up to 5 tries, and Alexa gives you easier and easier clues.

  • If you don’t know the celebrity, just say something like “no sé quién es” (“I don’t know who that is”) or “siguiente” (“next”).
  • If you missed something, ask Alexa to repeat it with “repite”.
  • To quit, say “salir” or “parar”.

To entertain and exercise memory. We built this Alexa skill to keep experimenting with multimodality (APL) on Alexa.

💻 Which technologies and libraries did we use?

Amazon Alexa features:

  • APL for the multimodal (visual and touch) experience on devices with a screen: you get visual support for each celebrity, including the clues Alexa has given you.

💎 How did we build this voice app?

We handled the ideation and product creation. We conceptualized and defined the MVP (minimum viable product), then designed the conversational experience and the multimodal experience for visual and touch interaction, and built the Alexa skill around that experience.
